Made For More (Week 4): Exchange Comfort For Compassion
SERMON SUMMARY:
We all want our lives to matter—but we’d prefer it not to cost us our comfort. In the story of the Good Samaritan, Jesus challenges us to stop asking who qualifies to receive our compassion and start asking whose neighbor we’re willing to become. Because Jesus first moved toward us with mercy, we can exchange protecting our comfort for carrying His compassion into the messes around us. Comfort creates distance. Compassion closes it.
