Made For More (Week 5): Exchange Insecurity For Invitation
Brad McMahan

SERMON SUMMARY:

We all attach our hope to something, trusting it to hold us through today and carry us toward a better future. But when our hope is attached to something unreliable, insecurity grows. In John 4, the woman at the well comes to Jesus carrying deep thirst and a history of hopes that haven’t held. Jesus knows her completely, loves her fully, and offers her living water—a hope strong enough to hold her whole story. Once she discovers that hope, her insecurity becomes invitation: “Come and see.” When our hope is securely attached to Jesus, sharing it isn’t an obligation; it becomes a natural overflow.
