SERMON SUMMARY:

This week, we explore the challenges faced by the early church in Acts as they encountered internal discontent and disgruntledness. Dealing with this requires addressing our own pre-existing prejudices and attitudes that we brought with us into the Christian life by repenting (rethinking and reconsidering) and believing (trusting that Jesus offers a new a better way). Serving others and preaching the Gospel are both vital for the church's identity. We must take personal responsibility to reshape, restructure, and reorganize our lives around our identity in Christ, to ensure that the institution of church can effectively reach the lost and make disciples.
